«Author/illustrator» Mode

Mr. Patrick tells the multiple facets of creating the book collection Tools of the Heart; the inspirations, the creation of characters, the teamwork, the writing, the illustrations, the challenges, etc.

«Storyteller/educator» Mode author school presentation

Mr. Patrick picks one of the 8 stories of the collection and talks with the students about its theme, emotions they may experience, and ways to find their well-being.
(Adapted from kindergarten to grade 3)

Each presentation offers one volume (4 stories) to the school, and a book draw amongst the students present.

Modalities and Material

  • CROWD presentation author school presentation
    • Requires a computer, projector, microphone, speaker, and an appropriate environment.
    • Possibility of combining two classes (approx. 50 students).
  • CLASS presentation
    • Requires NO MATERIAL from the school.
    • Is done in class with a single group.
  • VIRTUAL presentation
    • Is done through Zoom with individual classes.
  • Book Signings

    Book signings will be done remotely on stick-on paper. They will be made as parents place their orders, and delivered to the students, along with their book(s).

    Books won by students through draws will be signed on site.

Book Presale

Allow parents to discover our wonderful book collection!

FREE PRESENTATION with a minimum presale amount of 700$.

With the help of the school, a promotional email will be sent to parents 3 weeks before the visit. They will then be able to order books online through our Website. A personalized promo code will provide 15% off and free delivery.

The books will then be shipped to the school and distributed by Mr. Patrick; the day of his visit. In the case of virtual presentations, that aspect (well structured in advance) will be managed by the school.

Also, take note that digital books, or books bought on Amazon cannot be part of this offer.

Book Delivery

  • Live presentation

    I make sure the books arrive prior to my arrival at your school, so that I can manage their distribution to the students while I’m there.

  • Remote presentation

    The school receives a 35$ credit and takes charge of distributing the books and book signs received through transport. Of course, I do make sure it is done in the most structured and efficient way.
